]]>Broadway Beat is the popular weekly television program for and about the theatre world, right on the internet. Each week, the show’s popular and knowledgeable host, Richard Ridge, takes you behind-the-scenes for a look at the very best of New York Theatre – on Broadway, and beyond.
This week the topic is opening night for The 39 Steps. There are some terrific interviews with the 4 cast members, including Jennifer Ferrin, as well as Maria Aitken and Patrick Barlow. And there are also some great clips of the production. You don’t want to miss this!

A little about the real theatergoers:
Be sure to check out Word of Mouth on The 39 Steps! You won’t be disappointed!

More importantly, she so deftly distinguishes all three of her characters, you might not realize they’re being played by the same actress. Theatermania
Jennifer Ferrin plays the three very different female roles, and she’s excellent in each. Philadelphia Inquirer
You’ll find these and more in The 39 Steps Broadway Reviews. I’ll be adding more as they are published!
]]>As soon as the reviews come out, I will be setting up a page to track them, so check back in the next few days as they come out. Attendance for the previews has been decent despite this being the time of the year when Broadway is in a bit of a slump post holidays.
So far there have been some comments posted at Broadway World along with a review by one of the posters. One of my favorite comments was “The remarkably hard-working 4 member cast is quite good, and once again proves why the Tony committee needs to institute a “Best Ensemble” award. There’s no point in singling any one of them out. Collectively, they’re some of the most brilliant farceurs I’ve ever seen…” You can read more of the comments HERE.
Good luck Jennifer! Your fans are pulling for you and hoping this is a huge success!
